Data Sources

Every trial count, phase matrix, enrollment figure and termination reason on this site comes from ClinicalTrials.gov, read through the AACT database published by the Clinical Trials Transformation Initiative (CTTI) at Duke University. AACT is a relational copy of the registry, refreshed daily.

We read it once a day, offline. No page request ever reaches it.

MeSH terms used to attach trials to pages are assigned by the National Library of Medicine, not by us and not by the sponsors.

The "recent coverage" block lists headlines from third-party publications whose domain is on a reviewed allow list. We store the headline, the source and the link — never the article text — and every link points at the publisher.

A headline is attached to a page when a confirmed name of that page appears in it as a whole word. Short acronyms are excluded: they match far too much.

ClinicalTrials.gov data is in the public domain; AACT is distributed by CTTI for research use. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the National Library of Medicine, CTTI, or any sponsor named on these pages.
