Lupus Nephritis
DiseaseLupus nephritis is kidney disease caused by systemic lupus erythematosus, in which autoimmune injury inflames and damages renal tissue. Disease progression can lead to chronic kidney impairment and, in severe cases, kidney failure requiring dialysis or transplant.
