Filgrastim
DrugFilgrastim is the original short-acting recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF), approved in the United States in 1991. It is used to reduce infection risk from chemotherapy-related febrile neutropenia and other neutropenia-related settings, including radiation-induced myelosuppression. It remains widely used alongside biosimilar products.
