Atorvastatin
DrugAtorvastatin is a statin lipid-lowering medicine widely used to treat dyslipidemia and reduce cardiovascular risk. It is marketed under brand names including Lipitor and is taken orally. It has been approved in the U.S. since 1996 and is available as a generic prescription drug.
